F-86D/L Sabre Dog Colors & Markings
The
F-86D was America's first swept-wing all-weather interceptor and during
the 1950s and 1960s it served with a great number of squadrons all
over the world, both with the United States and with several foreign
countries. This CD-ROM documents all of those units with over 100
profiles and comprehensive research. In addition to this unit overview,
a photo walkaround is also included with over 100 photos documenting
the restored example seen at McChord AFB in Washington State. References,
historical information, and even some original era photos round out
this CD-ROM, providing the modeler and historian alike with an excellent
reference on the all-weather version of the famous Sabre.
